The Industrial Injection 369241741A Silver Bullet Phatshaft 69 Turbo improves performance in your 2003-2004 Dodge 5.9L Cummins. Much like the Super PhatShaft, it was designed to handle multiple fueling upgrades. What separates the Silver Series PhatShaft from the Super PhatShaft is Industrial Injection's 74mm turbine wheel. This allowed Industrial Injection to improve performance at a lower rpm range and reduce compressor surge. The new trim design transfers gas energy more efficiently than any other turbine on the market. It also allows for better gas expulsion which results in lower EGTs and quicker rotor acceleration. The most important benefit of the 74 mm turbine wheel is that it gets rid of turbo surge and broadens the power range.
All Silver Series turbochargers come with a 360 degree thrust bearing and an appealing polished compressor housing. The Silver series utilizes the proven 14cm housing with a modified nozzle. Industrial Injection maximizes the wastegate ports in the 14cm housing by enlarging the diameter. The turbine housing wastegate cover is custom built to allow full wastegate travel. Like all PhatShaft turbochargers they are equipped with dual grooved high performance bearings and an adjustable boost elbow.
